It is well known for its medical and surgical specialists, outstanding nursing care and patient-centered services, including the Clough Birthing Center, Mass General Cancer Center at Emerson Hospital — Bethke, Polo Emergency Center, Clough Surgical Center and the Clough Family Center for Rehabilitative and Sports Therapies. This popular program combines supervised exercise with education, including individual nutrition counseling, and support in order to speed your rehabilitation after a heart attack, bypass surgery or episodes of angina. Participants are referred to the 12-week program by their specialists. You do not need to be an Emerson Hospital patient to take advantage of the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program.
Emerson Hospital Home Care
The highly-regarded heart failure program emphasizes patient/family education and follow-up by nursing staff with the goal of identifying symptoms early and maintaining good health at home.
