Anticoagulation Service

Patients on blood-thinning medication such as Coumadin must be carefully managed to make sure they are receiving the appropriate therapeutic dose. Emerson Hospital’s Anticoagulation Management Center, located at the Emerson Hospital Center for Specialty Care, 54 Baker Avenue, Concord, provides ongoing evaluation of the patient’s INR (international normalized ratio) or the clotting tendency of blood with the goal of avoiding complications and medication interactions.

Cardiac Rehabilitation Program

This popular program combines supervised exercise with education, including individual nutrition counseling, and support in order to speed your rehabilitation after a heart attack, bypass surgery or episodes of angina. Participants are referred to the 12-week program by their specialists. Emerson Hospital Home Care
